Max, the streaming platform, has recently obtained a two-part documentary that explores the allegations of sexual assault against Kevin Spacey. This comes almost a year after the famous actor was found not guilty by a London court.

"Spacey Unveiled", a show that was requested by Channel 4 in the UK, is now fully finished and is expected to be broadcasted on May 6 and 7. The program, as reported by Variety, showcases old records and unique interviews.

Warner Bros. Discovery has acquired the rights to release the documentary in America on their platforms Max and ID. However, it is still uncertain when the exact release dates will be.

Katherine Haywood, the maker of "Who Is Ghislaine Maxwell?", is leading this series. It is a thorough examination of a man who used to be an extremely respected and revered performer globally. The show will cover everything from his humble beginnings to his rapid ascent to fame. This data comes from Variety.

The summary of the upcoming show highlights that it will focus on Spacey's behavior and will feature conversations with several men who have not previously shared their experiences with him. This is despite his acquittal during the previous summer.

In July of last year, the New Jersey-born individual was acquitted of all nine accusations - originally twelve - in his London-based trial for sexual assault. These allegations occurred between 2001 to 2013 and involved four men. Prior to his acquittal, Spacey denied all accusations, including one for causing another person to participate in sexual activity without their consent. If found guilty, he would've been subject to life imprisonment.

Spacey was one of several bigwigs in Hollywood whose professional success was disrupted during the emergence of the #MeToo movement in 2017, following a claim by actor Anthony Rapp that Spacey had sexually assaulted him in 1986. More than twelve people then came forward with their own accusations.

A panel of judges in Manhattan decided in 2022 that Kevin Spacey was not responsible for the allegations made by "Rent" actor Anthony Rapp, who filed a civil lawsuit against him worth $40 million in 2020.

After learning about the documentary's release, the 64-year-old ex-actor from "House of Cards" issued a statement to Variety via a representative.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to act in a movie produced by Warner Brothers once again after a long time. While accepting this chance, I also hope that the Academy [of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences] recognizes the remarkable performances of the less famous actors in the film. Despite my success in the acting profession with two Academy Awards for my outstanding role in “American Beauty” and “The Usual Suspects,” it is essential to highlight the work of other talented actors in the industry.
